Coloring Tip: Focus on high contrast! The lunar surface is famously monochromatic, consisting mostly of greys, charcoals, and stark whites. To make the glass windows look like they are glowing with artificial sunlight, use a soft, pale yellow colored pencil to lightly outline the inside edges of the glass panes.

For the shadows cast by the habitat dome, adding a very light touch of purple over the red terrain creates a surprisingly realistic, deep shadow effect.
