Welcome to the latest update for our coloring community! We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Awesome Vehicles & Machines Vol. 2. This brand-new collection is packed with powerful trucks, massive ferries, classic delivery vehicles, and heavy-duty machines—perfect for kids who love everything that goes!
To celebrate this release, we’ve put together a fun guide for parents and teachers. Moving beyond just staying inside the lines, here are some creative coloring tips to help your little artists add realistic textures and dynamic shading to their new favorite pages.

When coloring massive watercraft like our new Double Decker Car Ferry, the water is just as important as the boat! Encourage kids to use three different shades of blue. By blending dark blues near the bottom of the water and lighter blues near the surface, they can create depth. Remind them to leave small streaks of uncolored white paper near the hull to look like splashing foam and the ship's wake.

Construction sites are rarely spotless! When tackling heavy-duty machines like the Heavy Concrete Pump Truck, introduce your kids to a technique called "stippling." By tapping the tip of a brown or gray colored pencil or marker against the paper, they can create a dotted, gritty texture that looks just like dirt and mud on the tires. It’s a fantastic fine-motor exercise that makes the machinery look like it's been hard at work all day.

Classic rides deserve a polished look. For the Classic City Streetcar, teach your young artists how to create a "shine" effect. The trick is to color the body of the streetcar in a solid, rich vintage tone (like deep maroon or forest green) but leave a thin, diagonal white streak uncolored across the middle of the panels. This tricks the eye into seeing a glossy, reflective metallic surface shining in the city sun.

Sometimes the best coloring pages mix mechanical shapes with organic ones. The Vintage Flower Delivery Truck is a perfect example. Suggest coloring the truck in muted, neutral tones like gray, pale blue, or tan. Because neutral colors recede to the eye, this trick will make the vibrant pinks, yellows, and purples of the spring flowers pop right off the page!
We can't wait to see the masterpieces your kids create with Awesome Vehicles & Machines Vol. 2. Grab your crayons, print out your favorites, and let the creative engines roar!
